Deliciously healthy!

Sorry it’s been a few days since I have posted anything, being a back to work math teacher has its difficulties. I have been cooking more often lately to avoid unhealthy eating. This beautiful recipe is now a new staple in my house: http://www.thedefineddish.com/pasta-pomodoro/ . The ingredients are minimal and you only need to use one pan. In the picture below, I clearly used plain linguini, but the recipe calls for brown rice pasta (a bean pasta or quinoa pasta will do). Let me tell you, there wasn’t a scrap of food left.

Being pregnant, I have been super diligent about logging my foods so that I eat enough protein and nutrients, without overeating….hence the cooking. However there are definitely days where I crave salty snacks which totally throw off my diet. Tell me mommas, how to curb those guilty cravings?!
